Tips on selling my Audison?

I've only had it up for a couple days, lots of views but I'm wondering if maybe it is too high-priced for the majority of people on this site? I'm not knocking anyone, as I am surely not made of money. But seems like most people on here aren't running Audisons or McIntosh or Brax...anyone have any tips on selling it? I know people look down on buying stuff from people who join forums JUST to sell so I don't really want to go join another site to sell it. Ebay and craigslist yes, but I don't ebay and again I don't think someone would buy an Audison off of a seller with 0 transactions. What do you guys think? I'm not familiar with CL, so if any of you guys can help me out with making an ad, that would be appreciated...

Don't sell it here. Seriously.

1) People here have an inordinate fetish with "refs", as if they mean shit online...

2) Most of the users of this forum have no use for something like that...

3) It doesn't make dat Jeezy go boom y0.

If you want to sell it, you'd have better luck on forums like Elite Car Audio, DIY Mobile Audio, or SSA...you said you don't want to join another site just to sell, but SSA in particular would be worth it if you're looking for a higher level of discussion anyway.

Well. Most people like to feel safe when they buy something. Like there not going to be scammed. Pictures with your ca.com name/date and product. Postin threads like this is kinda weird to some. And then some just don't have money. Took me 3 months to sell my amp. All of a sudden I had 6 ppl all want it the same day. give it time.

I understand completely. And I have heard (seen) those other site names thrown around for more SQ oriented audio junkies, so I guess I will check them out. I read through many 4s thread before making mine, and I included a lot of pics (I know they were mostly off my phone) and the "required" tag with my sn and date on them. I don't see the harm in posting a thread like this. A scammer just isn't going to go through the trouble to make a thread to "ask for tips on scamming someone." I don't have a lot of posts, but if you look through mine, I know I haven't given any bad advice. I'm definitely an amateur, but am learning just like everyone else. I was just wondering. If it means anything, my dad is in law enforcement. I'm sure some will rag on me for that because of their "noise pollution" tickets, but hey I've actually gotten one myself so get over it. And when I graduate next year I'm pretty set on going into that field myself. Also, I used to be a Mod for the For Sale section on another forum, so I know how it works. But that was a little different. I think there is SO much stuff in the Classifieds, it is hard to sort through, and like Jim said, most people on here aren't in the market for an Audison ANYthing, even if it's used. I think I'll check out SSA, as I was interested in the Icon as a possible sub candidate anyway...Thanks for the replies.

Yeah I know. We were about to implement something like that on the other site before I stopped going to it. And I definitely wouldn't have even considered selling something with less than 100 posts. I thought I got scammed by someone on another site because after I paypalled him, I never heard from him again until my stuff showed up 2 weeks later. And he had like 200 posts, and had been on the site over a year. You just never know with people. After that experience, I can say that I'm skeptical of people that are new also. I don't think I will have any problem breaking 1k posts this year though haha.
