The bad thing is, my room mate is bartending there tonight. He can give us shots and drinks, but last Thursday cops were there, and there is no way im holding a drink when I don't have a wristband.
I honestly thought about buying a wristband from wal-mart, finding out what color they were at the club tonight, and then buying that color spray paint. SOund stupid, but it might just work......

Don't be a ***** about the situation and look for loop holes. Go in, get your drink, and stay toward the middle of the club. You'll obviously hear ruckus when cops walk in (if they even do). Simply put your drink down and act casual.

If you can't take the consequences of getting caught, don't bother going. Stick to house parties.

imo, you're more likely to run into a cop at a house party. Only time I've ever seen cops in a bar was when they came in looking for a certain person.

i lived in Austin when i was 18 and never had a problem. i would just walk in with a group of friends.

2-3 times i was followed and when they asked me for ID i came out of my shell as one of those really likable party guys...gave them a $20 tip for being observant and bought them drinks for making the patrons feel safe. idiots were so flattered they would walk off with a smile on their face.

it takes confidence...just like talking to women out of your league, worst they are gonna say is no.

I mean I am getting drunk now before I go, but by the time "prime time" comes (an hour before it closes when all the chicks are drunk) I will have sobered up enough and not have the confidence to approach some that are in my league.

The thing is, i used to be FAT and not very attractive. A few years later, I am built and fairly attractive, but still honestly have the confidence level of a fat guy. It sucks.

This is true in certain areas and very wrong in other areas.

When I was in my suburban high school, house parties were busted at least 1 out of every 3. Most for just getting too loud and annoying neighbors or some drunk kid doing something stupid. After these though my friends and I found a small bar in town, were always let in without IDs, and NEVER saw cops.

Now college is a whole different story (where I'm assuming the OP is going). Last year my house would have 4-5 kegs and border 100 people. As long as nobody left our front lawn or there were no fights, cops would drive by and just let us go (no point in busting every house party on campus). Every week or two, cops pick a select few bars here and raid them. Walk in both front/back and check ID's. No ID=Tickey, instant cash for the city. We just had a bar here shut down for 3 weeks because they found 88 underage people inside //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif

This bar actually isn't expensive. $5 all you can drink beer and mixed drinks. (With the Greek card we have, $10 w/o the card).

And I know of NO house parties tonight.

But I do agree.. House parties are 5x as better... In fact, I have never brung home a chick from the bar, but I have fun dancing and conversing with them. I am usually to drink to get their numbers, and when I do I don't remember them (I don't carry my phone).

House parties I have a lot better chance at the coochie.
