Tips for getting into a bar as 21

Well I got spoiled last semester when a friend of mine worked security at the local club..For 3 months straight, every Thursday night we got into the club as 21. However, he ended up quitting and we are hit with a dilemma. Any hints or tips?

The bad thing is, my room mate is bartending there tonight. He can give us shots and drinks, but last Thursday cops were there, and there is no way im holding a drink when I don't have a wristband.

I honestly thought about buying a wristband from wal-mart, finding out what color they were at the club tonight, and then buying that color spray paint. SOund stupid, but it might just work......

Over the break I wasn't carded once, I don't know what it is...
