That film is garbage. "We use non-metallic window tint only - Does not block radio, cellphone etc" They really know what they are talking about.

Dont buy that crap. You ONLY want to use a metallic film. The metal in the film highly reduces fading. ALL FILM WILL FADE. Most newer metallized films will reduce fading, and when it does fade, it fades to a lighter shade of gray. This fading is not even noticeable..so you wont walk out one day and your tint will be lighter, that is not what Im saying.

See if any local shops carry LLumar ATR series. I have always/will always use that line of LLumar's film.

theres pics of my DIY tint up here. its not professional but it doesn't look bad. just make sure you get a hard card, mine would have looked a lot better if i would have had one of those.

Ill go to auto zone and sell you some of their tint with a lifetime warranty. It doesnt mean 2 years down the road the hardcoat wont start flaking off or the tint wont turn purple. Hell if it does Ill send you another auto zone tint roll.

See where Im going with this?

Lifetime warranties are only good through tint shops because the labor required to remove and retint will take twice as long as before. And after a window has been stripped, it is harder to get all of the glue out from edges etc. It's basically a headache if you dont know what you're doing.

There is a reason we are called professionals.
