Tinting headlights/tail lights?

Wondering if anyone here has experience with tinting headlights. I have an 01 white escape with 20" black rims on it and am thinking about tinting the lights. If you have done this does it dim the lights any?

yes it dims them a bit, depending how you tint them and how dark you go. nightshades is pretty good stuff just make sure you read up before you start. also make sure you check your local laws before you tint the tails.
