I know someone has probably already asked this before, but, the most I can do around here on the door windows (front) is 50% tint (legally). When we first got the truck it had 5% all the way around until I finally got fined for it and had to take it off. My question is, would it be worth doing 50% or should I just leave them as is?

take it off or go 35%....you wont notice a difference with anything else

Yeah it sucks, I can't seem to get away with anything in this one town local to me, not many people do. We drove the truck for about 2 years with 5% with no problems, until we went through somewhere in Medina.

go find out the factory tints for cars such as a SUV. i believe they are darker than 50% and they are legal. Well thats what the cops told me when they pull me over for 5% tints. I ask them whats the legal tint percentage and they pointed to a SUV with factory tints.

Well, we have another s10 here (same year) and it has like 20% on it and it came stock like that (dunno if it was extra or not)

ya don't do 50% , i have 35% on the fronts and half the time it looks like its not tinted. im getting it redone in 20% this summer.

I'm thinking go 20% on the fronts and do the 5% on the back (currently has 5% just needs redone.)

I would go darker, but 50% is better than nothing. Looks black at night and can look pretty dark in the right sunlight.

20% on back, 50% on front.

I've got 20% in the front and limo tint in the back, 50% looks like a light shade of purple imo. I'd rather not tint them if i was going to go that light, but that's just me

Yeah I mean I'd love to go 5% in the front, but most the towns around me that I have to drive through at some point during a week are pricks about it. My girlfriends brother is a sheriff and I was asking him about it, and said usually a lot of cops aren't big on tint unless it is really dark, he said the most he would go is about 35% on the front to not push it to far. So I'm kind of looking in the 35%-50% range as of now for the front.
