10% all around buddayy... 150 professionally done and i've got alotta window coverage compared to other coupes... sounds like ur gettin ripped off with whoever you went to, you should look around some more.

everyone i've seen with diy tint looks like shit and you can tell, i'd drop the extra 50 or 6

I have 20% on my backs and 35% on the fronts and havent had a problem. I am in Duluth and have a wagon though. I have a ok pic if you want.

5% on every window except the front two..which have 20%..and im getting those redone in 5%...ive only gotten pulled over once in NY and the cop just told me that it was to dark for NY and to either lighten them or be careful next time.

theres no point in doing 50%

and mine cost me 200 for all my windows (jeep cherokee) and a strip on the front windshield (5%)...do it professionally if you plan on keeping the car for a while..otherwise if you getting a different car relatively soon there is no point in payin the extra $$$

Id go for 35% and maybe 20 on just the back window. And yeah, definently professional, thats not an easy car to tint either, so if you do decide to take a stab at it, prepare for hell. Save yourself the trouble man.

pro install and 35% sounds best for you as its the safe spot on your concern. but think about what color your interior is as well. my tan interior shows more behind a 20% film compared to my buddies black interior with 20%.

i live in nor cal and have 20% front/5% back for a year now. and davidfre21 is somewhat correct. i was pulled for a red light and the officer cited me for 35% tint up front as well. after fixing it and all that fun stuff, i went w/20%, obeyed traffic laws kept my driving clean. police have seen me with my tint and never bothered to tag me.

50% - can fully see you in the car during day. little harder to see at night.

35% - can still see you in the car during day, but hard at some lighting angles at night

20% - semi dark during day, still visiable. hard to see at night, must be under lighting to see whose inside. this is closest to what factory SUVs/Trucks use on the back windows on modern cars.

5%/limo - difficult to see during day and wont be able to see at night unless you have direct light.

hope that helps.

Did someone say tint?

Mine looks clear compared to casey's though.

I'm pretty sure it is his DD. In bigger cities here in Fl they dont really care about tint from what I've seen. Tallahasee may be differenct and Casey is just paying out his ***.

FHP are the only ones who have ever checked my tint and I know local police and sherrifs have the tint meters. I'm not dark at all. 28% sides and double 15 all around back.
