Time to nuke....

24 bug foggers in the crawlspace later and three 500w

shop lights, I went down to check it out. uggg... not much

room to crawl, I feel like a snake belly wiggling to move

down there simultaneously using a broom to sweep away

old spidy webs. 1/3 of the floor plan isn't so bad as other

people were down here a few years back, but off yonder

it's pretty nasty with old webs. Basically, I cleared

50% of the area I need to be in.

Unsure about the uncharted territory, I snagged 12 more

foggers and concentrated them in that sector to ensure

bug batterment.

Knocked down another wall section to verify if the flex

cable can run from source to destination, looks hopeful

so far.

How do electricians do this job daily, attic and crawlspaces

exploration?

After watching the haunted house show, demonic house possessions, I don't

feel like going there today.

[looks around] "here kid, here's $50 to run the pipe under the house .. shhh ...."

I have a plan now.

Three #2 THWN wires, one #4 wire for ground, inserted into 1" waterproof

flex pipe. The cables fit, cool.... Now, I gotta calculate accurate distances

for cable length.

Seems like you have the upper hand there Braveheart.

As far as installing the electrical feeder cables, I got it installed from the bedroom

[wall] under the house to the audio room, after nuking the bugs, and clearing

out webs, it was easier than I imagined. Found a rat carcass all dried up under

there. I should get it and do a lacquer mod on it - //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif ........... /jk

The next step is to wire it up, but I have to figure out some details first.

I'm working on the homestead winter projects first before I can focus on

audio again. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif bah humhug.. new bedroom, paint other rooms, install new

kitchen floor, etc.

I need to kill these lame projects before the fun stuff begins otherwise there is

no peace in the house.

In the meantime, I am planning on what can be done in that room since it's

a 'free for all'.

What do you think of these wall sconces for lighting?

http://www.lightspann.com/sconces.html

Specifically,

http://www.lightspann.com/sconces/tuscany_sc.html

I plan to make a dark room with burgundy [fabric. got samples yesterday] wall treatments and maybe a black

ceiling/floor, add the dungeon 'like' sconces on the wall and hide the audio

system behind the movie screen.

I wanted to install black 12"x12" [or larger] tiles in that room on the floor, but I'm unsure

if it will support 2000 pound speaker cabinets on metal wheels, plus keeping the floor

planar so the cabinets can be moved properly. ... or keep the dungeon theme, spray paint

the concrete floor black, sprinkle dirt and install some animatronic trolls guarding the treasure chest..

Truth be told, I'm no decorator... just an audio madman -- bleh
