2 Kinetik Hc1400s, one in front and one in back. 60-70 amp alternator. RF t200001bd and PDX-4.100. That's around 2400-2500rms total. Big 3. All 0 gauge wires except for the PDX.

Lights dim at vol 20 out of 35. RF amp gain is set on nom....heard capacitors are useless but everybody keeps telling me to get one...

I have less electrical than you and i have dim problems too i think these rf amps pull a lot of amps or something i have a 200 amp alt which i am now understanding is like 135 at idle and a kinda small battery up front and a red top 34 group in the back and at one point i cut the car off if it was up to loud on bass lines

the rf amp has a 350amp fuse haha. i cant afford to lose anymore space, but if i were to get another battery, it would have to be another hc1400 or smaller to put in the front.

ill just have to try a new alternator then. maybe ill put the hc1400 in the rear to the front and get a bigger batt for the back.

oh got one more question, what's the best crossover hz to set the pdx at? same with lp for the fosgate amp.

what's the best way to stop dimming? two hc1400s in the front, one bigger one in the trunk, and a 105amp alternator?

Honda Accord. I bought it off eBay not too long ago because my stock died out on me.

Can you believe I was using a stock alter and a durlast battery to power an Orion 1200D and a 400rms 4-channel amp back then?

I was testing it out tonight and lights stopped dimming after tightening the bolts on the rear battery. the ground came loose somehow and i screwed it back and tighten the pos.

the seller stated that it does 60-70amps on idle and 170 on 1200 rpm.

wouldn't that be a 170 amp alt then:confused:

instead of 2 1400 upfront y not just get a bigger ONE like the 2400?? just a suggestion
got the 1400 in front long time ago, didnt know if the 2400 could fit in my front. the rear one i got for used cheap. will probably put both 1400s in front if there's a space in the front to put it and get a bigger batt in the rear. that wont be happening soon though, probably towards july or august. a high school student doesn't make a ton of money lol.
