My subwoofer enlcosure design log...

I'm starting the paint job, so far I've rounded all the edges of the box and sanded it

using 80 grit and slopped some wood filer on all the cut edges. After the wood filler

dries I'll smooth it down with 230 grit and begin the primer stage by brushing it on.

• Miniwax Sanding Sealer Primer(brush on)
  
• 4 cans of Gloss Black Lacquer for wood
  
• 1 can automotive clear - didnt use it
  
• Elmers wood filler

3rd coat of primer and it's not soaking in anymore, I think its gonna be an excellent

surface to apply my Gloss Black Wood Lacquer. I'm gonna do another coat of

primer tonight and then tomorrow after work I will debate what I should do...

4th coat of gloss black lacquer

and it's getting to be a really solid gloss black, but I have a few wavy lines that I'm

not sure how to take care of and I really need some help or recomendations on

what to do...

I figured out the best way to get rid of the lines and that is to wetsand the box.

I got the supplies and will start wet sanding the box tommorow if the box is cured

enough....

Wetsanded the box with 2000grit for a ultra glossy mirror finish...

BTW that enclosure is teh hawt bomb dawg diggity!!! Dat isht is tight!!!

Anyone in AZ have a single 18" I can check out? I'm selling my type R's and I'm thinking about getting a 18" Fi BTL in 8 cubes @ 32hz. I've got about 2300 rms to work with.

Well I got rid of the Type R's and the box, I've got a lil Kicker 10L7 in there thats in 2 cubes @ 28hz. Anyone want to hear it?
