Time for a new head unit.. Help me decide

Well, ive come toa conclusion of that it is time to buy a new head unit, the 2 band eq and 2v preouts arent cuttin it anymore..

I want something that has a great ipod control( thats my main source of music) and that has a decent EQ.. so..

Ive been lookin at the DEH- P690UB seriously, BC i want a strong ipod control... but i also have wondered if it is worth it to spend 100 bucks extra and step up to the P880PRS, tell me what you guys think.

cd7000 eclipse has a stellar PEQ... One for sale in classifieds right now. Or wait for the new cda-9887 alpine. It also has a stellar eq, should be just like the older 9835.
