Tight Bass for ROCK in an acura rl w/stock bose

Title says most, but I am looking for some subs and amp to go along with my 10 speaker bose system in my acura RL. I think the stock mids and highs are good enough for me. Mostly I am looking for something that will make the bass drum really pop without alot of distortion, just something really tight that doesnt linger. My old accord had a basooka tube 10 inch, and it really sucked ***. I was hoping to put 2 10s in a space no bigger than 34inch wide 12 inch high and 15 inches deep. I would like to spend less than $500 for the subs and amp. I have the tools and skills to build the box. Just wondering what style box I need for tight bass and what type of subs and amp to go along with the rock n roll and some bob marley too thanks for any help

I wouldnt seal a type x. Also he wants two 10s not a 12.

bose speakers have zilch midbass.

i'd be more worried about good components first if you listen to rock.

a type-x needs comps that will play down to at least 60hz to blend cleanly.

Tight bass...definetly sealed in a high Q alignment.

Some image dynamics subwoofers would definetly work great for that

I would recommend using a sealed box, for overall cleaness to go along w/ a clean car like an RL... im jealous if its a new one. I, myself, am partial to Image dynamics IDmax's, not just becuase I have two of them, but because i think they sound great. They get pretty low, and keep up with the higher frequencies also. I think they blend well and sound very musical. Efficient subs also, needing only 500 watts to really move.

Not a new one just a daily driver so my NSX can stay in the garage with my wifes RL. also not a new one both are a couple years old. I used to have 2 jl tens sealed in my prelude and really liked them. I bought used from a friend so I didnt have any choice in what I got. I would go with 1 ten or 2 12s if thats whats going to sound better.

I was hoping to keep the box between the wheel wells so I can still put beer and 2 sets of golf clubs with ease. I think i could maybe go 13inches tall the width is like 37 and the depth could be go as far as 18 inches I guess

If you're doing a single 12 sealed, you won't need the box to be close to 18" deep
