I dont usually post threads like this, because it always seems to me that im somehow boasting or something, or maybe thats my humbless kicking in //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif However, ive been asked by several people on this forum to post up my use and results of a subwoofer thats been for sale on many fourms over the last 9 months.....the TC Sound 18" 4 HP Dual 1.7 ohm supersub. Shipping on this thing was killer, was $100 just to ship it due to the 98 lbs weight of the sub. I of course know this means nothing for actual output capability, but it does make you appreciate the size of it perhaps.

Comparison pic, thats a RE MT 18 sitting on top of the box

This score was taken over and over again, so its a pretty firm number. In the pics you see two visonik 4000xd amps, but in all actuality only one is hooked up. im able to do 90 amp burps at 51hz.

The box is a hron / slot hybrid of my desin, half fiberglass and half MDF tuned to 51 hz.

Actually I have a ton of pictures of my strictly SPL box builds, but I doubt anyone would want to chack that out, kinda boirng if ya ask me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif But I do get alot of people asking my help on boxes, which I dont mind. Unfortunately, I cant....Due to MECA rules for Street 3 class, I have to have the box equalling or under the window line in the cargo area. There's a guy on JeepForum.com that had an XJ that he used strictly for comps. He did a run down of all the deadning he did. One cool thing is that he fill A/B/C pillars with expanding foam, and any place he couldn't spray deadner.

Ive already put foam in the back door, its pretty much one solid beer cooler now. My main problem is the top of the truck flexing horribly, but im afraid id loose db's if it deaden it, so this is what happens as it stands now.
