see, thing is..
I've had my whols system for about 8 years now, and i sent my dual 200w RMS subs only about 50w each, and yet they still perform, and they didn't blow once. Well, after 7 years, I had to replace the surrounds, but other than that, it was fine. Now I give it about 250w RM each, and they are still fine.

ACTUALLY if you look at the specs and the capabilities, they are better than the W7, more power to ya Biggen, go show all those JL brown nosers that there are better subs out there, but may I ask what you paid for them, I know they are less than the W7 but not sure the current price point since they are brand new, I am considering them or the H2's but I need to hear more about the 9500s first

i have heard biggen's subs, and they are crazy. he came over to my house last week and we listened to them, it rattled 2 pictures off my wall and the front window of my house looked like it was going to fall out. the roof of his truck used to flex in about 3 inches, with dinomat in it, it still goes about 2 inches. i couldn't hardly stand to sit in his truck, his back window was almost flexing more than his roof. the subs were movin like 2 inches with only 600 watts in them... i think he told me he's not even keeping those. he's getting another amp and the dual 4 ohm voice coil version of them

I have had my subs metered by a good bud of mine who owns a pro audio shop. I figured that you all would like to know what it was that I hit? The subs hit 155 dB.

I am thinking about buying another 15 along with another 1501D amplifier for my truck. I have had a guy from class say that another 15 wouldn't make much more difference in loudness, spl, etc. Is this a true statement or not?

If anyone has any questions about my set up/ system feel free to ask.

I know I'm going backwards in the discussion a little, but regarding the JLW7 vs. MTX comparison, think about it - every company you think of for SQ is compared to the W7. There's a reason for that. Now I might be completely biased since I just got one myself and love it, but that was the one factor that convinced my to buy the JL. I had shopped around at 4 different audio dealers and each one would tell me how great theirs was in comparison to the W7, so why not get the audio reference? On the other hand, considering you already got it, congratuations - there are such slight differences that unless you have a perfect sense of sound, its better that you went with the best price
