could you by any chance name some sub(s) that are commecially available that could beat the w7?

i wanna buy some w7's but i gotta look at the competing subs real carefully before i buy anything.

subs that aren't available to the public, as far as I know, is illegal in comps.

But yes, I'd trust Jlaine in his knowledge of audio.

FUk SPEc for just congrad the guy on his purchase. second we talk about SPL like we are the founder of this sht. I was just saying that look at what the big boys use. They are the one's that are spornsed by some one they are the one breaking records. I have yet to see any one use an JL in an comp. and about that 153.3 at 1kw. and v-tech 12 hit an 153.1 at 1kw and I blew one of those last year whit and crossfire140. ok it is over

I happen to have a DUMAX report of a drive unit with 48mm one way...

Ruler flat in all aspects.

Lets look at what the companies are known for. MTX SPL! JL audio SQ! when was the last time u heard some one enter an Spl comp with JL audio. Me personally i can not remember. Now I have seen MTX in comps. but hey what what do I know. and that Xmax is not really that important. Look at the Kove armageddon and the cerwin Vega Strokers. I mean Xma is not that big of an deal if it was then the van that broke the current SPL record with an 177.7 he used treo subs. how many extreme vechlies use W7 en of disscussion and up grade u alt . have a nice day holla

Since each of my subwoofers shall be recieving around 1500 watts more or less. Then on the volume side how should I be careful? On my head unit I have super bass control as well as with subwoofer control, meaning I can decide how much power I want to put into the subs. Anyone have any suggestions?

(the super bass goes up to 8)

(the bass control ranges from 0-12)

any ideas on what i should set them on?

i didnt say xmax is the only thing that factors.im not THAT stupid.cmon gimme more credit.i dont think i said it mattered more than anything,i did say it matters,but not more than anything.c'mon i think i deserve more credit tha to think xmax is the only thing that matters.if that was the case then ppl would just use w7's.
