The pulley on my 220 amp alternator was slightly shredding my belt b/c it was slightly mis-aligned. So, i put the stock pulley back onto that alternator....well not good idea b/c it's significantly larger and i'm not getting nearly the same amperage at lower RPMS...i have to tach it up to about 3k to even get what i used to get @ idle. Anyways, i got the alt through mean-green. I e-mailed them about the problem, including all my information, and w/ in oone day they replied about the problem. Talked to a rep. on the phone and he immediately sent me all needed parts free of charge! Also, said if i had any other problems they would replace the whole unit! I'm so glad i went through them, 2 year/300,000 mile warranty. 1 year unconditional free replacement, best mix of price and true quality i've found! I'd recommend mean-green alternators to anyone! Great quality, great customer service.
