Has anybody installed a throttle body spacer in their engine before? Is there a noticeable gain in performance?

Today I just installed a throttle body spacer in my 01 Toyota Tundra and haven't took it on the road yet to really notice any performance gains. Although it claims to save gas which might be a benefit since gas here in Hawaii is expensive.
