nothing wrong with that. audio equipment from back then was actually made a hell of a lot better than it is today. the sound on many speakers from back then is simply AMAZING.

I agree, and disagree. I prefer older equipment in some ways, not in others. For example, speaker motor design has actually made some fairly significant advances in the past decade or so. BL optimization for example.
