Three Way or Two Way? need info

Whats the main difference between a set of three way or a set of two way speakers. Which one sounds better, is their a significant difference. Just give me the basics on this please. THanks

It really depends upon the brand, and alot of personal opinion. Three ways use two tweeters to divide the upper frequencies. As opposed to the two way only using one. As for which one sounds better.
