not sure all that bracing is needed for such a small box. Is it drawn to scale-looks alot more than 1 cube if thats a 9" circle.

bracing never hurt anything. the brace for the port is needed because the woofer is loading right off of the port. and yes my math is on. it looks bigger because of the triple port baffle, and port and woofer dis. need to be taken into account.

no its not... I just dont want the port to stick partway out of the box...

It would be better to have the sub on the other side so its not directly above the port opening.

Yep. Generally you try to keep the sub as far from the port opening as possible. I've had enclosures like what you pictured that did work though.

The HPO is not a high excursion driver so keeping the port area, tuning, and net volume is check is very key. If you don't you will find yourself with a damaged HPO do to passing the mechanical limitations.

thus the 1 cu ft and smaller port area than what I would normally do. what do you think man? this is for one of the ones that you sold.

What size port and how long?

Should be able to do a side firing port with out the triple baffle as that is just a waste of wood really.
