Thoughts on the S2000?

A couple of nissan sr20's would pull a premium at race wars in those //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

I've sat in one and they're well built, the shifting is unbelievable. I think it's more of a track car though, the engine's very high revving and from what I've heard the suspension isn't well suited for the street. If you want a small rwd drive car, check out the miata, sky, or maybe the genesis coupe. I can attest to the awesomeness of the new miata, ****in sweet.

Off topic but has anybody seen the engine bay of the 370z?!? Looks like you'd have to pull the engine to do anything to that car it's so ****ing cramped.

To do what run a power wire pm me I have done that in that car.

S2k's can be modified, and fast, but you have to deal with vtec which is aggrivating if you boost.

Intake, exhaust, mild cam, and remap the car and where vtec kicks in, should be plenty for you.

Still slower than my MazdaSpeed3 though, but a cool(and fun) little car to own.

I was looking at the s2000 for awhile before I got my G35. Only thing that turned me off to it was insurance. Otherwise, great little car and roomier than I thought it would be. I'm 6' and fit fine.

Bullshit *******. What do you run 13.9? Maybe.

Say hello to my little friend. It ended up pulling a 10.40@ 140

I like the sky/solstice but I don't see GM continuing them. I can see myself doing the miata thing. Seems like there is a lot of aftermarket support there.
Especially since Saturn is going six feet under, and they have disbanded all of the GM high performance groups... This means no solstice GXP... And I also doubt they would keep the Kappa platform when it would only carry the solstice and they have to push all their efforts into more fuel efficient vehicles.

I love the Saturn Sky redline, would love to have one, but they are hardly practical cars...
