$200 isn't cheap for that amp.

Not when you can buy this for $40 more (zenon board, same as Sundown Audio).

i have a 2 channel kenwood amp i used for components for 4 years np. never had problems, didnt get hot either and its an older one no fans. still works but sits in the closet. tho i have no idea if it did rated

Kenwood amps are ok if you are just starting out or getting a really good deal on them. They are mid level quality at best. I believe some of their class d 's to be over rated in power output. It doesn't seem as if the fuse ratings are in line with the output they claim. They are not as terrible as some people are making them out to be but better can be had for the money.

XR-4S for that kind of a price. more bang for your $ got one fan. and it a small footprint.

I used to have the kac-x201t and a kac-x301t with plans to run them in an old school setup but they just didn't have enough balls to run subs. I wish I could have gotten my hands on the big mono one. Can't recall the model number of it now though. Those sliding doors with the little fans inside were slick back in the day and the amps still look **** good in my opinion.
