thoughts on JL e4300?

Just wondering if anyone has used this amp or know if its a solid amp.

I plan on getting one for a nice deal and putting it on 4 Memphis Pr comps(rated at 50-100watts rms)

I dunno... but I have one laying around here that I haven't hooked up (it's used). Mine says "A4300" though, which I suppose is the updated line to replace the "e" line.

You can probably do just as good for less money by getting a different brand. The slash series (300/4 and 450/4) are top quality, the the e series are standard at best (in my opinion only). You could probably get a 4 channel mid level amp (MTX, Fosgate, kicker, etc.) and be just as happy with it for less money. For example, somebody was selling a used Fosgate p8004 on the local craigslist for about $60 (if I remember right).

If you get a nice deal on it, then that is cool. Don't expect to be able to sell it for much because they don't have the resale value like the slash series do.

I haven't used one, BTW, this is just opinions formed by other's experiences with them.

Cost vs power vs quality...hard to do much better IMO.
