Thoughts on build price? (Pic included)

I don't have money issues. I'm just not a COMPLETE RETARD to let other people get down on me and take my hard earned money. If u want to spend 7grand on a basic audio install be my guess. PS watches are dumb, u wear that shlt around here u get held up at gun point and u would prly pee your undies
You do have money issues if you drive a $7000 truck. Unless you're a super minimalist. At least to me you do. Maybe that's a really nice truck for the area you come from but I own an electrical company with 12 trucks on the road for my employees. Each of their trucks are around 25k. So I guess money issues to one person is "I don't have money issues" to another. There are a lot of wealthy people that would kill themselves if they woke up with my money. Which I'm sure I would if I woke with yours.

As far as basic install it's anything but that. It's a 5 day install with a ton of custom work going in. Welding all of the stuff in the spare tire area, removing factory amp, factory sub and center channel, to custom fabrication in trunk, full sound deadening, removing cigarette lighter and putting processor controls under, everything hidden. Full on tune from a guy who hit 3rd in SQ in worlds not long ago.

As a business owner I realize things it seems most don't. At least in this thread (Most period people getting it done in a freind's garage.) With around 4k in just materials and having it done at a shop properly, this tech will spend many hours of labor on my vehicle. He has to make money, the shop has to make money, the owner has to make money. It's called overhead.

A nice watch will last a lifetime and look brand new after years of beating it against everything.
And hold it's value! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif watches are the best!

Sounds more like you came here to try to brag about spending 7k on your car audio even though you know nothing about it.
Exactly why I leave it to the pros to do it. Not going to DIY on a system in my new car I know nothing about properly tuning etc.

Bro your crazy. I bought my first house when I was 20. You saying you would kill your self if you woke up with my money shows what kind of person you really are. Wish you the best in life as your going to need it. Someone just went full retard. And you never go full retard.

My advice. Watch what they do. Have them send you pictures of the work. If they won't let you in the bay it could be a hack job.
Thanks man for that piece of advice. I appreciate people who comment on the actual thread instead of going off topic about what they would have did with the money lol. But I absolutely will do that. I'd like pictures just for the enjoyment of seeing the install as it's happening as well. And I have faith in mike from mobile edge in doing a really great job. I had to drive a couple hours to the place they're supposedly one of the best in the business a vet on this forum referred me to them.

Look everyone I over paid 7k on an install, and have a 7k watch, and have company trucks. No I'm not a bragging dbag or anything. thread. Made my day
Hey brother, how about getting off my thread if you don't have anything constructive to offer? Your first sentence was "I paid 7 grand for my truck lmao". Well you and I both laughed our *** off on that sentence. Definitely made my day. Go drive around in your truck . That is, if it starts.

First u sound like a jacknut waving your internet wee wee around trying to brag about money,My truck has more money into it and is insured for more then your work truck and watch together. What car did u put a 7k system into. Like a cl200 or something? Isn't that a house wife car? Go get your button up polo on with white shoes n gold watch and drive your housewife car to the country club

Ps I said I paid 7k for my truck years ago as in I got a great deal. I'm bragging about how little money I spent not how much I over paid

I have 12 electricians on the road with my work trucks. The trucks aren't buy one get 11 free lol. With a couple thousand in tools in each. I don't know why you have a 7k truck worth 30k+. Sounds like you bought a hooptie and put a system in it that's worth more than the vehicle (that's not gangster). You're living life backward and I'm glad you didn't attempt any real world advice on me. I'm also happy to learn you have a great insurance company. I have state farm. Please refrain from more irrelevance. Thanks 7k trucker.

I know, I totally understand and appreciate the input. I'll get a photo log of the work being done. Even though I have confidence in the shop and specifically my tech (reviews and referral), I'll request photos. Thanks crx!

I know there are good shops too and I do hope your outcome is great....but there are shade tree shops out there as well that prey upon those they think have money ...Getting pics and follow ups along the way is good...and if they are charging that sort of money they should let you check on your vehicle as well...its not like your climbing under the dash or car ...you just following up...Ive been in all kinds of shops ...even ones I wasnt having any work done at ...and almost all say employees only ...

I understand. The first thing they did was take me in the back and show me a car they were working on. They had all the doors taped, floor mats down. Seems they took pride in doing clean work. Their shop was immaculate. Even the garage area where the installs are done. They are taking pics as the build goes as well. So they're going to keep me posted with pics. When I just called and asked about pics he right away let me know they were already on top of it!
