Hey want some thoughts on this layout. After being out of car audio for quite a while I am steeping back in. I was a former SQ competitor and have a decent ear. I have been thinking about building another car for a while and deiced to start buy adding a little system to my daily driver truck. I know a lot has changed with all the us made amps and company buyouts since my time. I have found decent information on everything but the amp I am considering. This 803 looks like the perfect fit for my small setup but unsure about these new mini amps and how ACR Audio is quality wish now days. So opinion on this amp in my simple setup? I don't care for rear fill so front stage only.
I have a 2008 Tundra double cab truck
Sony XAV-72BT (already installed)
My front stage will be Morel 6.5 2way dotech Ovation comps 4ohm (already purchased)
Rear sub box with one 10" Sundown SD10-D2 2ohm (already purchased)
down firing in a sealed .5cf enclosure (built)
I like the looks of the ARC Audio XDi803 running it all 2x80wrms on the front and 400x1 for the sub simple and compact but I can not find any reviews on the XDI stuff.
The doors will be properly deadened, 6.5 in the door, tweets in the a pillars. May add mid bass to the rear doors at a latter date if need be?
