best amp for mofo 12s

Planning on getting two mofo 12 inch subs (1200w rms I believe) and plan to run them at 2 ohm. Maybe 1 ohm. Was looking at power acoustik's 4000 watt amps but they aren't CEA certified so I was wondering what would be the best option for an amp

PA MoFo = Heavy @ss sh1tty cone & sub-standard weak motor - PLEASE don't waste your money on those subs, **** near ANYTHING else out there would prove better for you... & Just a friendly heads-up: Just because a sub is rated for high power, does NOT automatically make it a GOOD sub... If a considerably lower rated sub is built properly and efficient, it will get wayyy louder than those MoFos on half the power... possibly even less

the old ones have a more solid metal like build and can take more power and sounded better but its discontinued. Now they have a newer model of it with higher rms numbers but shittier plastic build and they really cant take as much rms as they state, not even close. The both subs have a limited frequency response range regardless of enclosure but they do get moderately loud in a good install.

the old mofos are 3 inch voice coils, you might want to look at AB xfl or the c2 audio, the C2 is $129 with free ship best back for the buck if you are planning to stay on the 600 watt range and this is better than the mofo

It seems as if you're set on the Mofo's huh? Well then I wouldn't feed them much over 800-1000 a pc. Get the dual 4's and run them at 1 ohm. This is the first time I agree with someone posting AP. he's running mofos, doubt he knows how to set it up, this amp will love 11v and so will those subs.
