THOUGHTS on...2004 Cadillac CTS....^$%^&*(

Fo realz unless she somehow messed up the calipers or abs sensors.
operative word you did them....have you ever gotten ur car done by an actual dealer before. there is a reason people call them stealerships.....
Costs $120 front $110 rear IIRC. But like I said most brake shops will do it $79-99. $350 is ridiculous. You also said just rear brakes. You didnt say ALL 4 BRAKES and ALL 4 ROTORS like I did.

ok fair enough. still a hell of alot of money just to replace a fuel pump and a heater core.

i stand with my original statement that cadillacs are pretty expensive vehicles to maintain. if you have any electrical issues forget about it. my parents 97 deville has more sensors and digital readouts than alot of airplanes. pretty technologically advanced car for late 90's

my parents have a 97 deville. to replace the fuel pump the dealer wanted 1400. gas tank, rear axle have to be dropped just to get to it. luckily my cousin did it for them. there were two other invoices in the glove box when they bought it that were both like 1100 and 1300. i forget what they were for. they also wanted 750 bucks to do the rear brakes.
my friend was going to buy a deville and the heater core needed replaced which was going to be 1200....

all cars cost money to maintain but thats a little too rich for my blood
I thought you said it would cost atleast $1000 for anything.

sorry bout my generalization......4 out of 5 problems a grand.....

let me rephrase. compared to most vehicles the cadillac is pretty pricey to maintain. happy smart ***

hahahaha. its all in good fun.

Here were my brakes and rotors set. they came together.

you know i just set out to give the guy a heads up. if hes like me and doesnt have the slightest clue how to fix cars and would have to rely on repair shops just wanted to give him fair warning that some things can get expensive. just trying to be a good citizen here lol

I was considering a 2004 - 2006 CTS for the past few months and after doing a lot of research and spending time in a lot of different vehicles I went with something else.

It's still a typical GM interior in any regard - cheap, plain, and plastic. I was dead set on buying one until I drove a few other vehicles and realized that it wasn't the cats ass. Seats aren't supportive, but the exterior styling is awesome in my opinion.

If I were you, I would spring for the CTS-V if you want a CTS.
