Tell me your thoughts on the legacy red 2ch 1000 watt amp. I need something not expensive but will make my 2 audiobahns 12s excursions.

I wouldnt reccomend it for anything, except maybe to power a pair of rear deck speakers.

What are the stats on your subs, and what is your budget for an amplifier? We can find you way better.

that legacy wont come near to powering those subs to their potential. What is your budget?

Real specs - from the manual:

75w x 2 at 4 ohms stereo

125w x 2 at 2 ohms stereo

250x1 bridged at 4 ohms mono

Even if that amp puts out the power the manual says it does it is not a good match for your subs.

Ideally - you're looking for either a 4 ch that bridges to around 500w (rms) x 2 at 4 ohms mono (not going to be cheap) or a mono amp that will do around 1000w at 2 ohms.

Off the top of my head I can't think of a budget mono amp that fits your needs exactly, but there is a Lanzar vibe 1800D refurb on ebay right now for $165 shipped - it will do about 700w at 2 ohms. You might also look for a hifonics mono. The bx1000D or bx1500d are decent amps that aren't that expensive.
