Thoughts about C2 audio recon amps?

looking at the recon 2.4 for 500 dollars atm

C2 Audio Recon 2.4

Think they can pull off at least 2.5k after rise wired to 1 ohm nominal with voltages around 14.2 volts?

Anyone ever tried these out and heard how they sound like?

Think I can get better with 500 bucks?

$500 can get you a lot more PROVEN power and a amp that's been PROVEN to take beatings.. I would pass without a thought.

Ur smarter than that since when is 2.5k for 500 bucks anywhere near a good deal...u can get a used aa3800 bc3500 aq3500 or saz3500 for that

Competition coming up soon, nothing popping up and most of my or best offers failed. Just looking at other options and curious about other unknown amps, not shelling any cash out yet. I kind of have a good idea what my rise is so i'm using the average between the 1 ohm and 2 ohm power range. Did a small clamp on my brx 2400 at 1 ohm nominal was rising to 1.67 ohms at 45hz. got 29.28 current 48.89 vac so around 1430 at 12.6 volts(no one to rev engine) My hdc3 18s thirst for power!!!

keep in mind, this may not be accurate with a cheap clamp meter but its a good ballpark for me to work with.

recon claims 4k on the dyno... and 3k certified at 1 ohm. Internals dont look too impressive though.

I guarantee a used 3500 of some sort will pop up for 500 in the next 2 weeks

nope, all the regular good stuff we normally nutthug within price range is acceptable! Can look beat up, as long as its mechanically sound.

Get two American bass ph4000 amps. They do 2k each for $200 each. So $400 and u get 4,000watt.

Should have grabbed the AA-3800 for 525 2 days ago..... Or could have grabbed the 2 saz-1500's for 525 last week....
