Thought Just came to my head

Class C amps do exist, it's mostly used in RF (radio frequency) transmission because it doesn't meet the criteria of an acceptable audio amplifier...
now we know //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif thanks

No...

Many large RF amps are A/B's, too. Just on a larger scale //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Class C's are often found in tuned circuits where you want a lot of efficiency and don't need the greatest in spectral purity...something like a cordless phone or wireless intercom would be an example. Or microwave communication/data links...

oooo i get it so like my cordless phone says 8.5ghz. that means it has a built in class c amp to get greater distances from the base unit?

thats my last question just trying to fully understand everything.

yea once me my mom and my dad and 2friends went to see the intrepid in new york haror and we had walkie talkies so we could separate and the channels we picked were the security channels.

so my dumbass friend goes "we got a code red on deck 2"

and then i quickly changed the channels so we wouldnt get caught. it was dam funny tho.
