no im still working on getting my 18 metered...prolly gonna be at the db drag in MD if they have it on december 3rd...

Nope, but I had 2 12" type R's sealed off same amp I have on the Q and the Q is as loud or louder to the ear to me. Now put a mic in there who knows. I was doing 141.2 with the R's. I say I am mid to high 130's right now. It might be higher once I get it back from Fi as I was getting a terrible slapping noise. Fi is taking care of it though. Some good peeps!

I'm still thinking of switching subs and going with FI. Now I had a couple questions, I'm interested in either two BTL's or four Q's... in the 18" variety of course... what would be the benefits and drawbacks of both setups?

Q's could probably handle 4kW+ and the BTL's 10kW+

I thought I remembered hearing the RMS on the Q's is 1kW... so unless you meant all four Qs, I don't think I'd want to throw 4kW @ each Q

yeah, i meant those numbers as total power.
