There is a difference between capital punishment from the judicial system and some muslim cutting his wifes head off for no reason.
Do you think this type of behavior is accepted by ISLAM? Your statements are judgemental and really spoken completely our of contex.
Don't assume, because a person is muslim or even understand the religion, b/c they grew up in a prodominately muslim country.
Most of the Christians in this country embrace the "Label of Christian" because it's the american way, to some degree.
Infact, I've spoken to many americans who have accepted the label of Christian, but don't follow or understand the religion either.
Should we consider every ******, murderer, thief and criminal a christian, because they grew up in America?
Regardless of your religion there is a level of responsibility that fall on you, individually!!!

Eating and the basic necessities of life are more important than religion(considering physical well being) , when the shit hits the fan, you will do what ever it takes to survive.
Have you ever went days without eating? hunger and malnutrition will cause unrully behavior.
If we pay close attention to what causes terrorist behaviior, religion will not be near the top of the list.

The man owns a Muslim TV network; i don't think its so outrageous to assume he is a Muslim.
No one is saying we should be stereotyping all Muslims, but as you can see in the polls i posted above there is a SUBSTANTIAL amount of Muslims from all over who view everything in the world through the lens of Islam. They don't believe in any sort of critical reading of the Quran, in fact they think such a reading is a capital offense. While the article may not say why this man killed his wife, as you know the Quran (and YES the bible as well) can be easily interpreted to demand the death penalty for a number of crimes. As a Muslim, you may not condone this type of behavior, you may find it revolting, but it is a problem for us all that there are so many people who might even entertain the idea of disagreeing with you about whether or not it is ever justifiable to murder another human being.
