that's a jacked up story, but every religion has its share of crazy incidence on their record, especially what I believe in: Christianity

This even handedness is really misleading because polls consistently show that there are millions of Muslims in this world, in our own western societies, that would love to see Sharia enforced by our democratic governments. Christian doctrine may allow the possibility for murderous fanaticism, but as far as numbers of modern people practicing or believing this type of fundamentalism, Islam is the biggest threat to civil society bar nun. Islam is responsible for more human suffering today than Christianity has been for a VERY long time, and there are certain tenets in Islam that really dont allow for anything but fanatical violence; such as the punishment for apostasy.
