I read the first couple sentences, and its obviously a scam. When they say they are off doing buissness in other states or countries, usually its a scam. cashier check money order = scam. If you want to go forward with this, tell him to send the money order, and youll wait a week before the bank actually clears it and then youll send the item. Usually they dont reply back after you say that.
