You live in America. Deal with it. Go found your own multi-billion dollar company and see if you would like it when people try and make you give up your profits.
The downside is, yes, it is bullshit most of the time, but what's done is done, and gas prices are only going to get worse before they get better.

Oh sorry, guess according to YOU I'm not allowed to ***** about it. Guess what, this is America, as you say it is, so I have every reason to ***** about it. I find it very difficult to believe that because of high gas prices, the link is a huge part of it....and each and every one of us paid for it. I think also that everyone on here agrees that paying high gas prices is not fun....you seem like you don't mind at all. Gas prices have dropped a bit around here....question is, will they go up again. Only time will tell. What the hell does Ramond Lee plan to do with nearly 400 million bux??? Absolutely nothing....except makin us americans work our ***** of just to make living.

its been floating ~$2.70 for unleaded here. memorial day weekend it was actually like $2.60 and on monday/tuesday the gas went up to $2.90 then came back down.

Oil is not in infinite supply. And the more we use it, the more we depend on it, the more the gas companies love us....

Here in the bay area the cheapest gas i have found was $2.99 at an arco gas station. my truck (04 silverado ext cab 5.3L) cost me almost $80 to fill up today. im on the verge of selling it but i really dont want to i love that truck. i will however be getting a motorcycle to commute weather or not i keep my silverado.

I feel your pain dude, I have that same 5.3L in my Chevy truck and it's costing me the same. Holy shit, fuc that noise! It would cost me a fortune. I have two cars. One takes premimum only and my other regular. They just received HUGE tax breaks from dumbo ears last year in the last energy bill. Thats why the oil companies were reporting record profits.

As long as we have a president in office that is in bed with the oil and energy companies we will continue to get gouged. Best advice to everyone is NOT vote republican and this problem just might get better.
