I hit a deer with my honda civic at 2 in the morning a couple nights ago. it was a huge buck but I only hit the tail end of the deer. so the damage was minimal. But I took it to the body shop and it ended up being 1700 dollars in damage. So after I payed my 500 dollar detuctible I got a 1200 dollar check. And I'm a self taught mechanic so I'll fix it myself for around 200 and pocket a grand...so I'm pretty psyced. I'm thinking about using the money to buy an engagement ring for my girl...but I'm also thinking that some new car audio stuff would be dope. either way this just turned out to be a huge blessing. I get ripped off by the insurance company on a monthly basis...and now it seems like all the money i put down for insurance was kinda like a savings account and i just took a big withdrawl lol. well anyway I realized it does pay to have insurance...literally.

new signal lamps=20

i can live with the dent in the fender.

Depending on the dent, there are companies that will pull that out for like 120 or less (if its only 1 dent) and it will look good as new. We were loading stuff into the back of my work truck, and my dumbass friend hit the tailgate with a 2x4. I took it to some dent remover guys and its like it never existed.

I could work the dent out myself...but i'm in no big hurry to do it.

Ah.. yea I was with sister when we smoked a nice doe one night.. shit sucks.. wasn't anything that needed fixing though.. just some dents..

dents are actually hard to fix. it's hard to make a panel look straight and like new. first you would have to pull the dent which sometimes involves welding then you would have to sand and add puddy to even out the lows and highs, then color match the paint. then theres some dents where all you have to do is take a little dent puller and pull it..and it takes like 3 seconds and looks as good as new. My brother is restoring a firebird and he's got about 5 hours in each door and they looked straight to begin with.

deer are terrible here too. Always get a lil paranoid driving fast at night.
