just about everything... doesn't do rated power. class a/b amps are super power hungry.... ugly

ive never liked their amps, about the only thing ive ever owned from them was a Soundstream Granite 12" sub back in 1993 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

I'd probably rock their XXX subs if they were given to me. But beyond that .... meh.

And that would be a shitty job, no better than any other phone tech support job.

Idk, I've seen some of the newer stuff and thought it looked pretty good...mostly the XXX line of amps/subs

well what made me turn off from their amps was when I found out that the 6500's has the same board as Lanzar amps and they charge 2-300 more for them.

The origninal Soundstream amplifiers (Reference Series and some of the specialty amplifiers) that were made in the US from 1990-1998 in Folsom CA are still some of the best SQ amplifiers made. Anything past them selling out was meh when they started sharining imported boards with other companies.

last time i checked they where 5% tolerance in spec..

the newer amps are great amps.. the rubicons are chea, but there meant for budget.. the reference are grea midend amps and the human region are top notch amps that are very clean.. the XXX amps DO rated power with 17 volts... class A/B is about 50-60% efficient.. soundstream by no means is highend, but there definitally a decent company with good offerings..
