Hello everyone I have got a jeep grand cherokee and was wanting some bass in it. I have around 600 to 700 i am willing to spend. I was thinkin of 2 L7 15 solobarics with a ported box and a kicker 1200 mono amp. I want some hard hitting subs but not to hard to where I have to have an extra battery. Any advice will be appreciated.

You can run two 15" L7 with 1200 watts, but I would only do one. They are 1000 watts a piece, iirc. The 12" are 750. If your dont want to add any batteries or anything stay below 1000-1200 watts. Check in the electrical section and there is a thread on how to upgrade the big three to 1/0 guage wire. Now there will be plenty of people that say they can run 3000 watts on a stock electrical but I dont recommend it.

u want all bass? how bout adding a 4 ch. in the mix to power your front and rear door speakers. two solobarix 15's will drown out all your mids and highs. if your still hard up on bass and not improving the whole system... you might wanna check these out.

You ever sat in a car with the bass shakers? They are actually pretty cool when you have like 2 8s or something. They really do make it seem louder than it is.

I like the idea for home theater seating, as an added effect. In a car, if you re going to put an amp in and buy bass shakers or a sub, just get a sub
