Resonating Reticular
With my car off, my battery (Duralast Gold) is 12.87, which is normal. When my car's on, it's 13.89V at idle. Not too bad.

Except at idle, the Volts at my amp are 14.01volts.

I haven't tested under loads. This was with the HU off.

Someone want to explain how there's .12 extra volts...?

Or is it just my DMM? (Very well could be. It was a $20 dollar Radioshack DMM)

 
what amp? could be the caps in the power supply of the amp.Once the amp is powered on, voltage will drop.

I'm gunna reset the gains tomorrow, so I'll test everything out again. I just thought it was weird that there was a higher voltage output at my amps than my battery.
