This car FTW?

Yes because it is still in the mint shape it was back then. Stupid ****. Of course when the condition goes down the value would. If it was show-room that would be around a $15-$20K car

Worstenemy, fuck off. One, they never said park it for 3 years, and totally restore it.They said in 3 years it would be worth 20k. NO, it would not be without being totally redone. You don't sound very bright 90% of the time you post, so you should probably just stfu. Maybe reading comprehension isn't your top skill, but you should probably practice it more in the future.

Here is the exact quote:

Great classic Mopar, wouldn't let a new driver near it. Buy it, put it in a garage and sell it for 20k in a few years.
It is, and you are, exactly wrong.

In my experience, if they're willing to admit there was a fire under the hood, you don't want to know the things they aren't telling you.

Only way I'd buy a car like that is from someone who lives and breathes those things and can give me service records, not someone who left it in a barn for 30 years and has a family of weasels living in the trunk.

Unless you like restoring barn finds, but that's a very different proposition than a daily driver for a girlfriend, with a different value...

Lol. Im missing the spot where your right and im wrong.

I dont know whether were going to get it or not, she really likes it but once we go and look at it well know for sure. The engine fire is no big deal as long as it didnt like melt the carb or anything, ill see if i can start it before buying it, replacing the brakes and bushings and other things is no big deal, i can do just about anything i need to to a vehicle.

We have also been looking for a decent honda, etc. But cant find much else right now thats low mileage or priced good. We also found an 87 firebird with 60k on it for 2000 were going to check out too.
What is 'low mileage?' My first car was a 91 accord with 135000 miles and that car could not have been more reliable. Those cars had a really incredible durability to them. Sometimes i still wish i had it.

A 72 charger for a 4 season-daily driver-first car is a mistake. No doubt about it. And thats not just for a 19 year old. Thats for anyone.

Plus that car is not going to be very forgiving when gas prices go back up.
