This box too small to hit lows?

i have a 15" IA LI in a 3.25 cube box after disp tuned at 33 hz.. i dont hit the lows in white girl/soul survivor/put on/late night tip.. etc.. i tried the t-shirt in the window trick and it didnt even budge... is this box too small for hitting lows effectively?

Set the ssf a tad bit lower and how many many watts you throwing to it?

Could just be a simple placement issue. Maybe a different port/woofer orientation would work better... a whole different box though, not just flipping the box over or something. Trunk cars sucks though.

your set up is NOT going to move that much air. It's a solid daily set up, but not some killer SPL car.

Bigger box would help, but would have to be built in the trunk...

i see i guess i just got false hope from the vids on youtube with dudes doing the t-shirt trick and then i try to do it and the t-shirt doesnt even move LOL.

its cool though it still sounds good i just thought i was missing something

your box could be so big thats its not letting anything get past it, what way is the woofer an ports facing? take the back speakers out so there are just holes there and see what happens. Like said box may need moved around.

wow i never thought of that.. the woofer and port are both facing the trunk and the box does seal off everything.

what if i turn my box around and have the sub facing right thru the trunk opening in the back seat.. would that be better?

facing back? try turning it around. You need some way to let air into the cabin, taking out the back speakers is easiest.
