In short I agreed with what you said. It does rise, but not much of an audible difference if its a well built piece.

That's why I said how much is open for debate and dependant on the amp. Crappy amp won't fair so well.

ive had the owner of a audio shop and former spl competitor tell me that the massive audio dmx 15 shouldnt be wired to 1 ohm because 1 ohm will blow most subs
