would it be smart to make the switch? I have a pioneer 700bt HU, pioneer GM 5300T amp. Im only running front stage, but I've had problems with my CDT's. One of the speakers sounds like it's popping. Been like that since the last vehicle they were in. I'm saving up, so I may have $300 to spend when the time comes, but I want them loud and clear (like most) I've also thought about running the the Cadence CVL6k's.

I know the amp isn't the best. THD is 1% so it's not great. What would be my best options? I also have the tweeters mounted in my door panels, so Ill need something to fit where I made the holes:

btw, the sig is out of date
