What to buy?

Go active and hand pick your drivers through Madisound or the like. It will save you alot of money. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

For beginner, just grab a pair of RSD6.5's until you start to acquire a specific taste of sound for those frequencies.

As for amp, headroom is always nice but depends on your budget. I have a really nice 2 channel I'll be selling soon, the Coustic 510-DR but I don't know when it'll be for sale.

Give us a budget and we can throw out some possibilities.
