well, i love my aq1200d, but just not putting out enough power really... so im thinking about getting a new amp, the aq1200d is rated 1200rms @ 1 ohm, so its basically putting about 600 to each sub, give or take some watts..

subs are rated at 750rms a peice.. but seen people putting upwords to 1000-1200 to each, so looking for something between 1500-2000 rms @ 1 ohm

oh and subs are 12" kicker CVX dual 4 ohm... 2 of em

what amp would be good, to give these subs enough power to get loud, but sound clean as well..

i dont think you notice much off a difference from 1200 to 1500 rms to make it worth the cost.
dang, i just want it to get louder... :/ i thought it got loud at first but now im used to it, so its like blah to me now.. i was in my car today and it was annoying me that it didnt seem as loud as normal but its just im used to it now, so i figured i could push more to the subs..

dont got enough money for a all new build lol

If you end up selling your other amp and want a saz3000d let me know!
that'll blow my subs... lol, dont forget were talking about powering a pair of kicker CVX subs.. lol....

but ill cut a deal with you, my aq1200d for your saz3000d straight up //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

ya, save some money buy another aq 1200 and some subs to handle 1200 rms each then you will be louder.

Haha no way. But you could just keep the gain down and have some headroom for when you upgrade your subs...because you know you eventually will, everyone does.

hmm.. could prolly do that, although the trunk of my GA isnt too big, the box in there now barly fit.. had to remove all back seats and such and it had 1/8" of clearance from top of the box to the top of the trunk... and its only 4.0cu ft. after displacment.. its in my vids if you wanna see, kinda messed up the box putting it in, scraped up the carpeting and ripped it a little putting it in.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

ive only had the subs since april, i like their subs they sound good, just old to me now.

I'm not trying to stop you from amplifier upgrades, but going from 1200 to 1500w isn't going to be very noticeable. Not to mention CVX's don't tolerate much 'abuse'. Not that the coil itself can't take it but it'll reach it mechanical limits only a hair above rated power. Thr cone tends to get a little wild...
