thinking about sound deadener is it worth it?

hey all i was just wondering if sound deadener is really worth the expense...i have a 98 corvette and the cabin is loud as hell so i was wondering is its worth the money and if anyone knew how much i would need for 2 doors and the whole rear end of a corvette trunk. also how many layers should i put on? sorry for all the Q's just not very familar with SD. thank you all

I would say at least the doors for the mids would be worth it, and help cut some road noise. If I owned a corvette though, don't know if I'd do it. Pretty much never going to get the deadener off after you put it on.

do the doors. they are really worth it. huge difference.

outside noise will be greatly reduced and the mid bass will pop out
