Thinking about selling current setup and doing this.

Currently im running some budget ma audio 15s and i like them alot but id like to try 12s again. My last set of 12s sounded good all around, but they were some shitty cheap mtxs and got no ways as low/loud as this setup does. Im wanting to sell these and experiment with 4 12"s. As many of you may know im a cheap bastard, so im looking at these hifonics 12"s which i could get 4 of for around 120 shipped.

What im mainly looking for is the high end response i used to get with the 12"s i had before, as these 15s really arent good for anything above 50hz it seems. However i also like how they play well all the way down to 15hz. Im gonna assume these hifonics 12s probably wont get that low will they? They will be seeing their RMS power maybe a little less.

Sortof a feeler for trying something new. I have more fun installing the setups in my car and trying them out different ways, than actually having subs. I like to switch it up alot i guess, helps sharpen my box building/install skills. Im thinking if i experiment with this setup the worst i could do is be unhappy with it and have to sell it to a homeboy who wants 4 12"s in his caprice. Opinions?

you should try 1 12 DC Lvl 4 instead of going with some cheap 12's(well not really cheap)...but that DC Lvl 4 is gona get loud for being a single 12...trust me..

Eh, i really wanna go with 4 12"s just for the experience/wow factor of it i guess. If i can sell my current setup ill do this, and let you guys know how it works. Not really pushing the issue but itd be something fun to do. Im fairly happy with my current setup

why dont u invest in some quality subs. U keep using low-end equipment, thats why ur unhappy.
