complete grill

well i want to do a grill over my subs, and i had this idea. how about a grill that covers the ENTIRE top, to make it all look flush like looking. maybe made of this: http://www.istockphoto.com/file_thumbview_approve/4957839/2/istockphoto_4957839_honeycomb_mesh_texture.jpg

would this mess with acoustics? itd be a few inches above the subs, and i could make like aluminum flat bars down the middle for support.

this is made for the 12" alpine subs like the type r (and i see you have 2 of them)

they work great, but are alittle pricey

i was thinking like covering the whole top of the box. same meshy material, but from edge to edge over the entire box.
