Thinking about getting one of those Motorola RAZR phones

Ive been in need of a new cell phone for awile since mine was stolen a few months ago, and i figured its finally time to get one.

I really like this motorla RAZR v3, i can get it for $200 (+ tax) after a $100 instant rebate if i buy it online through t-mobile, i have never seen one in real life, just online and with the demo, it looks pretty **** cool though.

I was just wondering if anyone has one or has used one in person and if its worth the $200 ?

Its worth it. Cool phone, lots of memory, takes decent pics, reception is alright. An overall 9/10 if you want to impress your friends. An overall 6/10 if you need a reliable phone, if u drop it when its open, it WILL break.

A few buddies of mine have them. I wouldn't get one simply because it is so delicate, it doesn't feel very solid. But it has a great look to it, has decent reception, and a nice, big, bright screen.

Not really looking to impress my friends, guessing thats how the last one got stolen...

Why is it just a 6/10 for reliability?

Im am looking for the whole good reception, sound quality, (doesnt sound like your listening to them trhough a cup or something) good looking screen, nice pics... etc

I heard it takes videos also, but then other site say it can just recieve them?

What does the keypad look like? Does it really look as cool as it does in the pics online? I was thinking they just added some special crap in photoshop for marketing, does it have the light behind the keys to look like lines going around the buttons and crap? I like all those little small features...

Dude..there POS. I had one for 2 weeks and the keypad went out...give me standard buttons anyday. Its too delicate, u cant drop it whatsoever...I replaced it with a Sony Erricson S170a, 1.3Megapixel Camera, MP3 player with 128mb of memory, Video Camera...its such a cool phone.

I've known a few people to have them and they don't like them whatsoever. It just has the "wow" factor at how thin it is. Decent features, but will break way too easily. Definitely look into something else.

I bought one cuz its a good PHONE. reception is great, speaker is great, it's a very functional PHONE. if you want a camera, or a game boy this phone is not for you, the camera sucks and the games are all demo's...

but the size of the screen is great, I love mine. the only two things i dislike are the phonebook and you cannot feel the vibrate mode.

oh, and I have huge hands and have no issues with feeling like i'm going to break it....

I have one and I was one of the first to get one, back when it didnt even come with the video feature to record. It thin, I do alot of hard work for my jobs, construction work, asphalt work, cooking, and carpet installation. I needed something thin and small not in my way etc. This phone gets dropped and tossed around etc, and works great still and looks in great condition with only a few minor scratches I was very impressed by it.IT is a solid phone for me, I was going through phones like once a month sometimes because none would hold up. I am thinking of selling mine and getting a pda now. The only thing I dont like about this phone is the speaker phone is not loud at all. Thats why I have a wireless headset though. If your lookn for one let me know I might want to sell mine ckustyn@verizozn.net or go new

personally i love this phone. i got custom mp3 ringtones, lots of wallpaper, lots of space, videos, bluetooth compatible, etc..

i also have a great skin on my phone.. guess what it is??
