thinking about getting an 02' Explorer

Anyone run one of these? im just trying to get some opinions before i start looking at them, if i even do



what do you get on gas mileage for the v6 model?

everything worked right for you, not too many things go wrong with it?

how wide is it between the wheel wells or what ever they are in the back, and estimate on how high the back seats go up

i assume they use 5x7 speakers or what?

any comments you have on them

i wantsa do a box for 4 15s trying to figure out the spaceand how much room for extra batts/amps and what not

cant say i'd want to get any sort of suv right now w/ gas this way, not even the v6 model. but thats just my opinion

i agree. v-6's use just as much gas as the 8's.

i love my 97 explorer...its a v8 too

i say get the 4.6L, ive heard its so much better than the 4.0...if your gonna get an SUV, your already preparing to pay high gas prices, might as well get the 4.6 haha

i love all explorer from 91-current...had a 92 and now my 97, my next car may be a new explorer...

my blazer already eats gas so it wont be any different, there arnt any other SUV's i like that can be had on the cheaper side, and im not getting a car or truck or wagon

as far as some ive rode in and the looks and what not, i would take an explorer over my blazer any day, not the old explorers, has to be one of the new models
